Operations Associate

Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried Position (40 hours).

Position Overview:
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily operations.
This dynamic position involves a mix of manufacturing, shipping, customer service, retail, and event support. The
role requires a balance of independent work and team collaboration, offering a mix of fast-paced and serene work

environments. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a versatile and team-oriented setting and is looking for long-
term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Manufacturing:
● Efficiently and accurately produce high-quality products (e.g., pouring candles in batches ranging from a few hundred to a couple thousand).
● Maintain attention to detail and quality standards during repetitive tasks.
2. Order Fulfillment & Shipping:
● Pack products for shipping with care and precision.
● Operate our shipping platform to manage and process orders.
3. Customer Service:
● Respond to order and wholesale emails/messages professionally.
● Provide phone and email support to customers.
● Assist customers in our retail shop and during workshops when necessary.
4. Market Participation:
● Represent Milk Jar at approximately 10 market weekends annually.
● Set up and tear down market displays.
5. Warehouse Organization:
● Manage and organize inventory and supplies.
● Lift and move boxes (up to 50 lbs) as required

Qualifications:
● No prior experience required; training provided.
● Ability to focus on tasks and deliver excellent results.
● Work with a sense of urgency. Efficient manufacturing/production/shipping skills.
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
● Problem-solving abilities and confidence in decision-making.
● Experience in the service industry, shipping logistics, or organization is a plus.
● Comfortable sitting, standing, moving, and performing repetitive tasks.
● Capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
● Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a growing small business.

Compensation & Benefits:
● Starting salary: $47,840 annually, with opportunities for advancement and salary growth within the company.
● Christmas Bonus 1.5% of yearly salary.
● Two weeks paid vacation, 3 weeks after three years of successful employment in Salary position.
● HSA of $1000 annually.
● We offer three additional paid statutory holidays: September 30th, December 24th, and December 31st.
