Aromatherapy & Yoga Workshop
$50 per person
Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. When inhaled, the scent molecules in essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional centre of the brain. In this hour workshop class, you will learn the benefits of essential oils and how they can create a feeling of relaxation, grounding, energizing and much more.
You will create your very own EO blend and turn it into an aromatherapy perfume roller for you to get you into a FLOW STATE. Afterwards we will move our bodies in a relaxing and energizing morning yoga class taught by Calgary Yogi, Shaima Ibrahim.
Please bring your own mat for the yoga class :)

Just the fine print
In addition to your take home apothecary, workshop attendees will have access to 15% off items in our retail shop. (excluding Milk Bar, gift cards, workshop gift cards & refillery)
We also offer workshop gift certificates for purchase in-store at our factory & online.
We require attendees to be 13 or older for our workshops and accompanied by an adult if they are 13-16 in age. All public classes must consist of at least 6 participants. Any classes under 6 will be rescheduled and combined with another smaller booking in order to fulfill our minimum. You will be contacted 2 days prior to the workshop date if we reschedule.
There are no refunds or cancellations. If you need to change the date of your class for any reason, we require 48 hours notice to move you to a different class at no additional charge.
Participants will receive an email or text reminder 4 days before their scheduled class.
If there is more than 48 hours notice, you can:
- Modify your reservation via your email or text confirmation to change the class date
- If cancelling, contact us at bookings@milkjar.ca or call 403-454-5451 for a digital gift code equal to your reservation cost, usable in-store or online.
If there is less than 48 hours notice, you can:
- Transfer your class to someone else at no additional fee,
- Pay a rescheduling fee of $30 per person and book into a future class,
- Candle the class and receive a $100 gift-code for use in-store or online

Team-building? Holiday-partying? Just want to make aromatic candles and diffusers with your favourite people while eating snacks and drinking wine? We got you. We offer private workshop bookings for you and your group of up to 20! Bring your own food and drinks, bring your people and book our beautiful space for 3 hours (2 hours of workshop, 1 hour of mingling). We’ve got all the dishes and glassware and pricing includes set up and clean up.
